Hi all,
I think I mentioned previously that I am having lipo on my stomach and legs. Its got me thinking: what if my dress doesn't fit afterwards? Guess I will have to get a new one if it's too far to alter it.
We are moving in 12 days to the new house. I think it will be easier to visualize the wedding once we live there.
Good luck to me on the move D:
Cheers!

Glasswear
Hi all!
So wedding thoughts are still in my mind, but definitely not the first thing. Moving is in full swing. The house is sold. I've been busy. BUT the other day I was at Pawn America, my favorite place, and I came across a box of crystal glasses they just got in. I saw a couple of the glasses (the rest were wrapped) and they were pretty. They came with a pitcher. So I decided to buy them, mostly sight unseen. It was about $14. I just got them out of my car and decided to count them. 36. There are 36 glasses in the set. 36! Can you believe it? Not glass, but crystal. I need about 45 altogether. I think if I look at the thrift store I should be able to find some similar to them. I love good deals!
That's all for now!
Cheers!

Hi all!
Never fear! I have not forgotten about the blog. I have been busy. I have had many things going on to keep me super busy.
First I am selling my house. In fact 99% sold at this point. We finished fixing it up. Then I staged and cleaned and packed and cleaned and on and on. Then I showed it to about 8 different people. I will update when the money is in the bank.
Second I have been working as usual. Yesterday I put in my two week notice for my part time job. I will be able to work one job from here on out.
I have also been thinking about the new house. Getting seads for the garden. Growing tomatoes. Picking out paint colors. Picking out furniture. Deciding who is going where.
On the wedding front we are sure we are getting married at our house. That's exciting. Otherwise no changes or updates.
We officially move April 27th. I have two houses to close on that day. The one I am moving out of and the one we are moving in to. Once we move I can really make plans for the wedding.
On the wedding planning I have a dress issue. I need to have the top sized. If I can do it myself I will. But the middle is a bit tight. It is tight because I carry extra weight around the middle. No matter how thin I am it never goes away. So what do I do? Make it a bit bigger? No. I am going to have lipo to remove the spare tire I cannot otherwise get rid of. The date is set. May 9th. I feel like if there is something I really want to change about myself and I have the ability to then I should. So I am going to. My dress is going to fit better.
Wish me luck.
Cheers!

Keeping my eyes on the prize
Hello all!
It has been a while but I have not forgotten about blogging. I had PRK eye surgery. And what does that have to do with the wedding? My eyes are now one less thing to worry about. So if I cry (which I will because I always cry) I won't mess up my contacts. I won't have to worry about loosing a contact.
Also today I started watching 4 weddings on TLC. It seems like a good way to get ideas.
Otherwise nothing much on the wedding front. I think I am going to find a way to candle light outside for the evening of the big day!
Cheers!

Options
Hello all,
Never fear! I have not forgotten about the blog. I have some news. While at my local salvation army the other day I saw a dress. Du du du DA! I had to try it on. So I did. It fit me perfect. It is simple. No train. My belt will go with it. So now I have to decide. Which one should I wear? Maybe both? Big for the ceremony. Small for the reception. It was only $20. And it was new. Still had the tags.
It was a really good deal. Because it fit me so well and looked so good and cost so little I picked it up.
Its better to have options!?!
Cheers!

We are buying!
Hi all,
Well it is official. They accepted our offer after a bit of negotiation. We are planning to move in May. After we buy the house we will cancel the lake house venue and get married instead at our beautiful new home. I have to say I am over the moon excited! We have an indoor option if it rains because we have a great pole barn that is heated with cement floors. And it is insulated.
One of my bridesmaids is coming to Minnesota from Alaska very soon for the holidays. While she is here we will be doing dress shopping for the ladies. I will keep you all posted!
